8月2日,Google Scholar发布了2018年最新的学术期刊影响力排名。
在这个排名中,Nature期刊以h5指数达到362而位居榜首,The New England Journal of Medicine和Science分别位居第2和第3位,其h5指数分别为358和345。第4到第10位分别为The Lancet,Chemical Society reviews,Cell,Nature Communications,Chemical Reviews,Journal of the American Chemical Society和Advanced Materials,其h5指数分别为278,256,244,240,239,236和235。
在这个榜单中,Plos one和Scientific Reports这两个期刊的期刊影响力排名可能出乎了很多人的意料,分别位居该榜单的第23和39位,其h5指数分别为180和151,和多个Nature子刊的h5指数接近。
至于通过数据分析出来的某个期刊学术影响力和该期刊在学者心目中的影响力可能是一致的,也可能存在较大差距,不同分析方法可能都存在其优点和缺点,娱乐一下自己就行,别太当真。其他期刊详细的学术影响力排名前100名期刊见下表。
Google学术是通过计算某个出版物最近5年内发表文章的h5指数和h5中位数等指标来确定该期刊的影响力。这几个指标的含义如下:h5指数是指某一出版物在过去5年发表文章之中,至少有h5篇文章的引用不低于h5次(h5-index is the h-index for articles published in the last 5 complete years. It is the largest number h such that h articles published in 2007-2011 have at least h citations each)。h5中位数是指“出版物的h5指数所涵盖所有文章引用次数的中位值”(h5-median for a publication is the median number of citations for the articles that make up its h5-index)。
